SAN FRANCISCO -- iBloks, creator of new self-expression software that addresses people's desire to personalize their digital media, today announced that it has secured $3 million in Series B funding from Maveron LLC, the investment company created by Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz, and Dan Levitan, the former managing director at Schroder Wertheim & Co. Jonathan Fram, former CEO of NET2Phone, will lead the investment for Maveron. iBloks will use the funding to further develop its application so consumers can expand the way they express themselves with rich digital media using the ultimate personalized entertainment platform.

iBloks, which first shipped its consumer beta version of iBloks on Windows Vista on May 23, released its consumer beta application for Windows XP on June 21. This included the opening of the iBloks download shop which provides customers free and paid premium content and mods, digital music, videos and games and establishes a revenue stream for the company.
