| What we look for in a company
The characteristics we seek in a company may differ according to its business activities, stage of development, industry and geography. However, all companies we choose to invest in must have:
A proven management team
A strong market position or market leadership
Significant unexploited market opportunity
Significant growth prospects
Typical funding scenarios
Later Stage: buyouts (management buyouts, buyins and buyouts of non-core divisions of large corporations), financing organic or acquisition-led growth or international expansion, recapitalizations, privitizations and special situations such as restructurings and joint venture investments (partnering with industry players).
Venture Capital: seed to pre-IPO financing, usually the first or second round of venture capital. Often companies are pre-revenue, developing or launching a product, or expanding production and marketing.
