| We invest primarily in media and entertainment entities, including but not limited to: media content and programming, internet-based media, digital television and broadband, alternative media, media metric/delivery technology and wireless marketing services.
We will consider development-stage companies with exceptional management teams that are targeting emerging markets in sectors in which we have experience. However, our primary focus is on companies that are in a later stage of fundraising -- typically B or later -- and have an established product and/or service that is generating revenue with a reasonable path to profitability.

Review of investment opportunities through the due diligence process includes, but is not limited to, the following: initial assessment of the business plan and its market strategy, analysis of applicable business sector and competitive landscape, legal review, and visitation with management to ensure they share similar values and objectives.

We seldom take a leading investment/ownership position. We are comfortable assuming a minority ownership position or teaming with other institutional financial backers. It is our belief that companies benefit greatly when the founders and management of a company have a significant equity position.

At this stage our primary objective is to be a strong, strategic partner to a portfolio company. Our involvement can range from intensive involvement to a far more detached role once the company is mature. We prefer to hold a board seat with most of our companies, but not all. We leverage our history to provide introductions to relationships for assistance with strategy, finance and organization development.

The final stage involves, but is not limited to, the following: establishment of investment banking relationships, locating and identifying appropriate merger or sale candidates, facilitating "road shows" through selected underwriters and providing assistance during investor due diligence.
