Ackerley Partners, LLC is a privately held investment company founded in June, 2002 with a focus on media and entertainment investment opportunities. The firm we have created is more than merely another investment company. As we invest our own capital, we are highly motivated to use our experience and network to help entrepreneurs quickly achieve market leadership and sustainable business models. While we fervently believe that seeking out companies with strong growth and earnings potential is critical, we also believe seeking out companies with bright, talented, passionate people behind them is essential. We aim to be a partner, not merely an investor. We invest primarily in media and entertainment entities, including but not limited to: media content and programming, internet-based media, digital television and broadband, alternative media, media metric/delivery technology and wireless marketing services. We will consider development-stage companies with exceptional management teams that are targeting emerging markets in sectors in which we have experience. However, our primary focus is on companies that are in a later stage of fundraising -- typically B or later -- and have an established product and/or service that is generating revenue with a reasonable path to profitability.
